The Waiting Room

Even as Christians, there may be a fleshly drive in us to try to bring things we desire into fruition in our own time and under our own power. This means many of us are working against the power of God and don’t even know it; because it is not His plan we seek, but our own. We like the movement that comes with the upper room, but we hate the delayed seating of the waiting room. If we truly want what God has for us, we will always have to wait.
