Our Beliefs
The following are the core beliefs of FavorNation Church based on the foundational truths taught in the bible. All of our teaching and ministry is rooted in and flows out of these biblical doctrines.
God
God is the Creator and Ruler of the Universe. The Bible teaches that He is one and has existed since the beginning of time as three distinct and equal persons: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. These three are co-equal parts of one God.

Jesus
Jesus is God’s son and an equal of the Father, existing from the beginning of time. Jesus lived a sinless, earthly life. He offered Himself as the perfect sacrifice for the sins of all men by dying on a cross. Jesus offered Himself as the perfect sacrifice for the sins of every human. After three days in the grave, he defeated sin and death and rose to life with all power. He then ascended to Heaven and will return to earth one day to reign as King of kings.

The Holy Spirit
The Holy Spirit is full and equal with the Father and the Son as God. He works in the world to make all people understand their need for Jesus Christ. The Holy Spirit lives inside every follower of Jesus from the moment of salvation. The Spirit provides Christians with power for living, understanding, and spiritual growth. To experience that power, we must continually surrender to the Holy Spirit.

Man
Man is the masterpiece of GOD’s creation, being the sole construction GOD made in His own spiritual image. Although GOD designed us to have fellowship with Him, we became alienated from GOD through the disobedience of Adam (the very first man). As descendants of Adam, we all inherited a disobedient sinful heart. This attitude of rebellion keeps man from forming a relationship with his Creator and becoming the person GOD created us to be.

Psalm 8:3-6
Psalm 8:3-6
Isaiah 53:6a; 59:1-2;
Romans 3:23
Salvation
Our disobedient nature has eternally separated us from our GOD. No matter how hard we try, we can never earn our way back into His presence. It is only by trusting in Jesus Christ as GOD's offer of forgiveness that you can be saved from sin's penalty. This salvation is a gift from God to all who accept it. Whenever you make that decision, by faith, you step into the eternal and abundant life Jesus promises for all believers. Salvation is maintained by the grace and power of God, not by the self-effort of the Christian. It is the grace and eternal power of God that gives this security.

The Bible
The Bible is God’s love letter to all of humanity. The Holy Spirit inspired human authors to write the books of the Bible. It is God's Word and it is the ultimate source of truth for Christian beliefs and living.
